to promote the abundant strengths you already possess and move from

functioning to "flourishing" (optimal human functioning).

When you and your employees feel better, your business performs better.

(Deloitte, 2020)

I help organisations implement effective wellbeing strategies

& create a culture where wellbeing can flourish.

Wellbeing for organisations is:

  • An outcome (a vision for feeling & functioning at your best)

  • A set of practical, effective strategies (how you'll achieve the outcome)

  • A value (the cohesive culture driving the wellbeing vision & strategies).

Wellbeing is good business

and is is good for business.

Organisations that commit to employee wellbeing as a core value "from the top"

are more effective, efficient, productive and profitable. They enjoy greater loyalty, lower churn, fewer days lost through illness, attract higher-calibre candidates

and are healthier, happier places to work.

(Gallup 2015, 2018)

The cost of poor mental health to UK business is over £45bn per year, split by:

Absenteeism (unable to work due to poor mental health): £6.8bn

Presenteeism (attending work when unwell): £29.3bn

Staff turnover resulting from poor mental health: £8.6bn

(Deloitte, 2020)

On average, every £1 invested in improving mental health within the workplace generates a return of £5.2, up to over £11.

Preventative investment is most effective - the higher upstream the investment (mental health monitoring & feedback, for example) the higher the return.

Conversely, investment in reactive treatments, such as therapy, has, on average, the lowest ROI, averaging £2.3 for every £1 invested.

Interventions that achieve higher returns tend to have the following characteristics:

  1. They offer a large‑scale culture change and / or organisation‑wide initiatives supporting large numbers of employees.

  2. They are focused on prevention or designed to build employee resilience.

  3. They use technology or diagnostics to tailor support for those most at risk.

(Deloitte 2020, Mind, 2019)

Proactive prevention, in every sense, is better than reaction. Promoting sustainable wellbeing at work is the smart choice for business.

When you and your organisation feel better, you function better.
